You can save quite a bit on a pre-owned PS5 console when Sony starts selling these "good as new" units.

PS5 Pro will cost $699 in the U.S. when it launches on November 7. The console will include two terabytes of hard drive space, a DualSense wireless controller, and a copy of Astro’s Playroom, the prequel to the well-received Astro Bot, pre-installed.

This isn't the first Sony has used the intoxicating power of nostalgia to tempt its customers to part with their hard-earned cash; a decade ago it released a 20th-anniversary variant of the PS4, again resplendent in PS1 clothing.

Sony is celebrating 30 years of PlayStation and the celebrations are quite elaborate. The company has recently announced the limited edition PSOne themed PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro as part of these celebrations.
