A deadly Thursday morning crash involving 10 vehicles had I-10 closed off in Chamber County until at least Thursday evening.

The crash happened at approximately 8:06 a.m. near State Highway 61, when a truck tractor tanker struck the rear of a slowed vehicle, setting off a series of collisions, DPS said.

The Chambers County Sheriff's Office said crews are responding to the major crash on I-10 near State Highway 61 on Thursday morning.
