I have a NEC ND-3520A dvd burner connected as a master drive to my Asus A7V8X-X. Windows XP says the drive is in PIO mode, which is true because everytime I try to burn a CD in nero it locks up at 47% ...
hmm i am not really sure ..... i didn't do this with HD .. before on my old PC when i had win98, after installation my CD ROM was on DMA and what happened was every time i put in cd the pc would crash ...
