The New York-based company said it had net income of 80 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 78 cents per share. The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 51 cents per share.

On a per-share basis, the London-based company said it had profit of 30 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $1.20 per share. The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.78 per share.

For the quarter ended December 2024, Asbury Automotive Group (ABG) reported revenue of $4.5 billion, up 18.2% over the same period last year. EPS came in at $7.26, compared to $7.12 in the year-ago quarter.

The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $6.07 per share. The auto dealership chain posted revenue of $4.5 billion in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts.
