Nolichucky and Watauga dams face high water levels, TVA issues updates
TVA is actively monitoring levels at our Watauga Dam in Carter County, Tennessee. The Headwater hit an elevation of 1970.2', which is a new pool of record by about three feet. The pool has crested. River Management is working to get water out of the reservoir by releasing from Watauga and Wilbur dams.
