In Maharashtra, the question remains whether the Mahayuti alliance will form the government or if the Aghadi coalition will gain momentum. Both sides have intensified their activities, with Congress appointing observers and preparing to house legislators in hotels, while Mahayuti has reached out to independents. Meanwhile, in Jharkhand, the battle between JMM and BJP heats up, with JMM alleging BJP’s deployment of electronic experts outside counting centers and demanding restrictions on internet services and gadgets within a two-kilometer radius. The results for UP’s nine bypoll seats and 46 seats across 13 states, including Bihar and Rajasthan, will also be revealed today. Additionally, Wayanad’s by-election results will determine Priyanka Gandhi’s potential debut as an MP.

At 9 am, counting trends showed the Mahayuti-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leading on more than 153 of the 288 seats. Meanwhile, the Opposition was ahead on 86 seats

While the Mahayuti is leading in over 200 seats, the BJP, which fielded 149 candidates, is ahead in 125. On the other hand, the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is leading in only 60 seats.
