BYU won the 2024 DI men's cross country team title, finishing with 124 points. It's the first title for BYU since 2019. With the win, BYU became the first team since 2004 Colorado to sweep the men's and women's team titles.

At the NCAA DI Cross Country Championships, the best runners in the NCAA faced off for one final dance. Alabama's Doris Lemngole took the women's individual title, while Harvard's Graham Blanks repeated as the men's individual winner. BYU took the team titles for both the men's and women's races.

The team competition was all BYU in the early stages. At 5K, the Cougars had all five scorers in the top 31, but Iowa State chipped away at the lead in the back half. BYU’s buffer, however, was enough. They scored 124 points to win the overall title, pulling off a sweep with the women’s team.
