Iconic Metal Gear Solid actor David Hayter is teasing his return as Big Boss, and naturally, fans are spiralling. "I was in the booth today. Playing a role I’ve not played, since…" reads a tweet from Hayter that was followed up by a gif of Big Boss in Metal Gear Solid 3 Delta: Snake Eater, a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3.

Released in 1987 for the MSX, Metal Gear introduces the player to Solid Snake and the stealth genre as a whole. The game was later released as part of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence in 2005, an expanded version of MGS 3, which in turn was made available as part of the Master Collection Vol.1.
