England all-rounder Liam Livingstone was acquired by Royal Challengers Bengaluru for a whopping Rs 8.75 crore during the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday.

Livingstone was picked by Punjab Kings (PBKS) before IPL 2022. He experienced his breakout season in the league that year, scoring 437 runs and hitting the longest six of the tournament of 117 metres.

Livingstone started his IPL career with Rajasthan Royals in 2019, but it was with PBKS that he really came into his own.
