Delhi’s air quality has once again plunged into the ‘severe’ category, with the 24-hour average AQI reaching 401 around 6 pm on Friday. According to the data from the Central Pollution Control Board’s (CPCB) Sameer App,

At 6 am on Saturday, the CPCB recorded Delhi’s AQI at 419, which placed it back in the ‘severe’ category.

The Central Pollution Control Board data shows of the 38 monitoring stations in Delhi, nine reported AQI readings in the “severe” range.

People in Delhi woke up to a hazy morning with a minimum temperature of 11.3 degrees Celsius as the air quality remained in the "very poor" category recording an overall AQI of 373. Out of 38 monitoring stations in the city,

After a week of "severe" pollution levels in Delhi, the city`s air quality improved slightly but still remained "very poor", as it recorded the season`s lowest temperature on Thursday morning, reported PTI.

A minimum temperature of 10.2°C, two degrees below normal, was recorded in the national Capital on Thursday compared to 11.2°C a day earlier and 12.3°C on Tuesday
