It's been five hours since House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York has held the floor as he speaks out against President Donald Trump’s $4.5 trillion tax breaks and spending cuts bill.

Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives advanced President Donald Trump's massive tax-cut and spending bill toward a final yes-or-no vote early on Thursday morning, appearing to overcome internal party divisions over its cost.

The House advance the Trump agenda bill on a 219-213 vote after most of the Republican holdouts flipped their votes to support the rule. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Pa., was the only Republican to vote with all Democrats against the procedural motion. The House is now debating the bill and will soon vote on final passage.
