India on Wednesday strongly rejected Canadian media reports alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was aware of a plot to kill pro-Khalistan separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada, calling the claims "ludicrous" and urging their dismissal with the "contempt they deserve.
