Florida State football coach Mike Norvell saw the promises of what his team could be next year - and a victory to show for it. While the 41-7 homecoming win Saturday over a 1-11 Charleston Southern may not mean as much as the Seminoles improved to 2-9, Norvell placed his young talents on display at Doak Campbell Stadium.

Hosting Charleston Southern on Saturday, Mike Norvell's team showed out, defeating the Buccaneers 41-7. It was an excellent offensive performance by the Seminoles in this one, as an offense that has been lackluster all season totaled 415 yards.
