Defying the exit poll predictions, Hemant Soren's Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)- led alliance is set to retain Jharkhand, as it is leading in 57 seats in the 81-member state assembly.   The BJP-led alliance got 23 seats in the state with the JMM leading in 33 seats.

With a robust voter turnout of 67.74%, including 68.95% in the second phase, the battle for power has sparked high hopes on both sides.

As political parties, leaders, and the people of Jharkhand await the election results, all eyes are on the Election Commission for the declaration of the Jharkhand Assembly election 2024 results today.
