LOS ANGELES, Calif. (WSMV) - The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Gibson Guitars announced Tuesday that $18,742,820 in counterfeit guitars were seized. Officials said they collected over 3,000 guitars after the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) intercepted suspected cargo arriving in ocean containers from Asia.
