John Ratcliffe, a fierce Donald Trump loyalist and a director of national intelligence during the first Trump term, was named Tuesday as the president-elect’s choice to head the CIA. Trump’s choice of Ratcliffe puts the former Texas congressman and noted China hawk in line to head an agency that he helped oversee in the final months of the Trump White House,

Ratcliffe formerly served in the House representing Texas’ Fourth Congressional District which includes Grayson County.
