Nio’s stock was surging Tuesday, as investors in the China-based electric vehicle maker cheered the stimulus measures China’s central back implemented to try to jump start the sagging economy.

U.S.-listed shares of Chinese firms and China-focused funds jumped on Friday and are set for another day of strong gains, aided by the latest in a line of aggressive stimulus measures to propel economic growth in the world's second-largest economy.

Chinese stocks rose sharply in trading today as the Central Bank of the Republic of China unveiled a wide-ranging package of stimulus initiatives meant to revive the world’s second-largest economy.

The People’s Bank of China also made funds available to invest in Chinese shares and help companies buy them back.
