BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A Baton Rouge police officer was hurt in a crash on Airline Highway Tuesday morning.

A man was arrested in connection to an officer-involved shooting in Baton Rouge, according to Louisiana State Police.

One person was transported to the hospital in stable condition after a shooting in the 3400 block of N. Sherwood Forest Drive, according to EMS.

Police are investigating after one child died and two other children were hurt in a drive-by shooting on Swan Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

Three children were rushed to a pediatric hospital after the shooting, two were reported as critically injured and one was seriously injured. One of those three has since died, officials confirmed.
