Indonesia is set to assess a $100 million investment proposal from Apple Inc., as the American tech giant attempts to coax the government to unblock its sales ban on the iPhone 16.

Apple has offered $100 million to Indonesia as part of an effort to lift a recent ban of the iPhone 16 in the country, as reported by The Wall Street Journal. The company has presented an investment plan that would use that $100 million to set up a manufacturing plant in the nation.

The amount the U.S. tech giant has offered is 10 times higher than an initial plan to invest $10 million and will be invested over the next two years.
