The Sims has been one of the biggest success stories in gaming over the last quarter century, with more than 500 million players trying to understand Simish, learning what WooHoo-ing is and using the classic Rosebud cheat to gain more money.

Amazon MGM Studios has confirmed it’s developing a feature adaptation of The Sims gaming franchise around six months after word of the project began to circulate. Details as to the plot of the feature take are under wraps.

Third-party delivery drivers working out of an Amazon warehouse in New York City have joined the Teamsters union in the hope of obtaining better pay and working conditions.

Workers across three Delivery Service Partners (DSP) in Queens, New York are demanding Amazon recognize their union and negotiate a Teamsters contract, the union said. Unionization efforts have been picking up in recent years as large number of contract workers across the country bargain with Amazon for better working conditions,

Drivers at the facility, known as DBK4, have called for consistent schedules, properly maintained delivery trucks and reasonable workloads, the union said.
