Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey was treated by paramedics Sunday after appearing to become unsteady at a campaign rally for congressional candidate Caroleene Dobson.

That investment remains her number one priority. With two legislative sessions left in her term, Ivey touted a record-breaking education trust fund budget. She said public safety is among her other priorities, citing the success of Montgomery’s Metro Area Crime Suppression Unit.
