Beginning on Wednesday, The Auto Club Group will also launch its free ‘Tow to Go’ service, which is aimed at preventing impaired driving.

The AAA program, which ends at 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, is available in Florida as well as Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, North Dakota, Nebraska, Tennessee, Colorado (Denver), North Carolina (Charlotte), Indiana (Fort Wayne/South Bend). The service, which offers a ride for drivers and vehicle towing, is free but AAA urges it to be used as a last resort.
AAA to activate free ride and tow service for impaired drivers through Thanksgiving weekend
In an effort to reduce impaired driving, AAA will be offering its “ Tow-to-Go ” service. It will be widely available in Florida and 10 other states. AAA has already projected that there will be some 71.7 million Americans taking road trips during the Thanksgiving stretch this year, a record number of travelers for the holiday.
