There are some primitive sites, but nothing isolated from other campers and park goers. It is a small sized park overall and the hurricane did a lot of tree damage so you can see almost the whole park at one time. Also, as said above, there are numerous sink holes both marked and unmarked, and leaving the established trails is both damaging to the environment and dangerous, as well as illegal.
Q:
Is there food available for purchase?
A:
No food sold in the park. Stores are nearby if needed.
Q:
How much are your fees and how long can you stay?
A:
Or get a Florida Parks Friends membership, no fee. Depends on how much you camp! As to how long? Most state parks keep it to a week or less. But I don’t know that answer. Sorry for that.
Q:
Is park/campground good for biking riding? My kids live to bring bikes...
A:
They do not have designated biking trails but do have hiking trails.
