Chicago's First Lady Cruises offers visitors the city's most engaging architectural tour experience. All of our tours are given by experienced, volunteer docents who receive hundreds of hours of training from the Chicago Architecture Center before guiding the river cruise tour. We offer several types of tours at various times of the day. Our fleet of cruise vessels is also available to rent for private events.

On the cruise my wife and I took, almost everyone sat on the top deck of the boat in order to see the buildings. The top deck of the boat has no roof and is in the direct sunlight. There is a lower deck that is enclosed but we don't know if it is air conditioned or not since we stayed only on the top deck. Even on a warm August morning, the breeze off of the river was cooling and neither my wife nor I overheated.
