Windows Scan App Can No Longer Recognize Scanner
WEBApr 18, 2022 · The Scan App from the Windows store is having issues connecting the my wireless printer and scanner. What makes this very annoying is that it my laptop has no issues recognizing the printer and scanner - all the devices are connected and recognized under the System Settings>Bluetooh and Devices>Printers and Scanners menu.
How do I scan multiple pages as a PDF file in Windows 11?
WEBNov 1, 2021 · Windows has always had poor PDF support and that does not seem to have improved in Windows 11. I have tried both the built-in "Windows Fax and Scan" app and the "Windows Scan" app from the Windows Store. Neither of them will scan multiple pages to a PDF file which seriously is the most basic requirement for a scanner app in 2022.

WEBJan 14, 2024 · The scanner uses a USB port. I'm looking in Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners. I can see my Brother printer in this window - but, I do not see the HP scanner. I've tried unplugging and plugging the USB cable a few times. I've tried power cycling the scanner. Rebooting Windows 11. Nothing I do seems to work.

WEBNov 30, 2016 · I've tried that to no avail. It tells me that the Windows Store Cache might be corrupted but I've exhausted all efforts to restore/fix it. It's hard to believe that the Scan app has to check with the Windows Store every time it runs. As I said the Preview function works just fine in the Scan app, it just won't scan. No other apps give any problems.

If available, you can click on Go Back to initiate the process. Wait for the process to complete. Once done, you windows will be on Windows 10.

WEBDec 11, 2021 · I am now attempting to download and install 2022-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5008353) after updating completely Saturday, January 22 2022. this illustrates that the system senses the scanner. but this suggests there is no scanner. even with this configuration, occasionally it works fine.
