Does a Brita water filter get rid of sulphur taste?

I might pack my slim Brita pitcher to bring w/ because we have a volleyball tournament at ESPN/Orlando before our WDW part of the trip, but only if it actually takes that taste out of the water.
Brita water bottle...anyone ever gotten a sore throat using one?
WEBApr 30, 2001 · some of the water filter bottles, including the brita bottle, is only a charcoal filter. it will not filter out any bacteria from the water. so you could have gotten a soar throat from something that came from the water. there is only one bottle that will ALSO filter out bacteria, e.coli, and things like that. www.purewater2go.com
Has anyone used powdered drinks in their britta water bottles?
WEBAug 25, 2000 · My kids are non water drinkers too. I always have powdered juice, but I don't use the Brita bottles. that would probably not work with the filter. I just use regular water bottles or Powerade bottles with the spill proof top. I use the Brita's for water to filter some of the bad taste I find, but there is no bad taste after you make juice.

Brita Sport Filters and flavor packets - any problems?
WEBJul 17, 2004 · If you really want flavored drinks made w/ filtered water, carry one Brita and one larger non-filter bottle. Put the water into the Brita, then squeeze it out into the plain bottle. Add the mix to the flltered water in the larger bottle, then take the filter out of the Brita and pour half of the mixed drink into it.

WEBMar 9, 2009 · Don't use the drink mix w/ the filter; it will clog the filter. If you ahve to have the drink mix, squeeze the water throguh the filter into another bottle and then add the drink mix. I have the Brita bottle. It is not insulated, so the ice melts pretty quickly in warm temps. I don't have to have cold water, so it's not a problem for me.

I'm also picky about my water and thought it tasted great. I got them at pure water 2go . com. (obviously no spaces in the address) Back in January they were buy 2 get one free.
